PIA will land its first test flight tomorrow at the New Islamabad International Airport

As the inauguration date of the New Islamabad International Airport comes closer and closer, the authorities are making sure everything is working well before the launch of the airport.

The Airport is currently undergoing through serious mock exercises to ensure that every software, machine and other parts of the airport are functional before the 20th of April.

Now Pakistan International Airlines have announced that they will conduct a full mock flight landing complete with people on board at the airport tomorrow which is Saturday, 7th of April.

This will be a complete simulation-based exercise where a PIA flight will land the plane on the new airport complete with PIA personnel, the families of those personnel and crew members. The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), the Security force of the Airport and other notable parties will also be part of this simulation.

The purpose of the simulation exercise is to test all the key procedures of the airport ranging from passenger check-ins, boarding, taking off and landing, and baggage handling.

The people involved in the exercise will reach the airport at around 8:45 AM t0morrow where the exercise will begin.
