The Centaurus in Islamabad is known to hold various small and large events in the capital city. While some of the events are held on the ground floor of the mall, others are held outside on a grander scale.
To celebrate Ramadan in Pakistan, Centaurus Mall is holding one of a kind Islamic Art exhibition from the 15th of May to 20th May. The main purpose of holding this exhibition is to give a chance to the citizens of the capital to view Islamic Art from well-known artists.
The art has been collected and displayed for viewing pleasure on the ground floor near the fountain. Art from various Islamic artists from around the world is displayed.
The exhibition went in full swing on the 15th of May with the help of an opening ceremony which was attended by many known figures including Hammad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates.
Other important figures from countries like Tunis, Morocco, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Iran, Azerbaijan, Romania, Tajikistan, Palestine, Brazil, and Yamen also attended the opening ceremony.
