National University of Technology (NUTECH) inaugurated in Islamabad

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa inaugurated the National University of Technology (NUTech) yesterday. Many of the top officials from the army as well as the faculty members of the university were present at the inauguration ceremony of the university.

COAS was briefed on the many academic activities and strategic education plan of the university and the chief praised the efforts of the management in successfully launching the university within two years. He also advised the management to maintain the high standards of education which are being offered at the university.

The campus was constructed and managed with the help of FWO. The NuTech university has a unique concept of the University of Industry which also impressed the chief of army staff. The university’s vision is to develop leaders of character for the industries and skilled workforce for Pakistan.

The General expressed his interest in providing support to the management of the university in building future campuses in the city which will help the university to accommodate more than 30,000 students.
